The Young Investigator Innovation Grants are awarded by the AFSP Board of Directors acting on the recommendations of the Chair of the Scientific Council, and are designed to support research on suicide from a variety of disciplines including psychiatry, medicine, psychology, genetics, epidemiology, neurobiology, sociology, nursing, health services administration, social work, and many others. An additional purpose of the grant is to assist new researchers to obtain the advice, guidance and supervision of an established mentor in a selected area of suicide research.

Objetivo:
The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to encourage research focused on tobacco use and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in low and middle income countries (LMICs). In particular, applications are encouraged that focus on the development and evaluation of tobacco cessation interventions tailored to HIV positive populations, including those with co-morbidities such as tuberculosis (TB), in low-resource settings in LMICs. Objetivo:
The Angelman Syndrome Foundation announces biannual Calls for Research Proposals to be awarded in support of Angelman syndrome research. Highest priority will be given to pilot projects to test new ideas about pathogenesis and therapeutics of Angelman syndrome, translational research and clinical research studies. Of particular interest to the ASF are studies related to communication, behavioral issues and identification of issues and treatments that impact the daily life of people with Angelman syndrome and their families.

Objetivo:
This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) seeks to stimulate research that tests optimal end-of-life and palliative care (EOLPC) interventions/models of care that are based on individual- and family-centered outcomes. The testing of EOLPC interventions and models of care are urgently needed that address racial, ethnic and/or cultural diversity in children and adults for those with serious, advanced illness. Trials are needed to test efficacy and effectiveness of these interventions and/or models of care. Application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project. The maximum period is five years.

O programa Researcher Links tem como objetivo apoiar a realização de workshops científicos que sirvam como plataformas para a colaboração entre cientistas brasileiros e britânicos.
