Objetivo: The purpose of the project is to study CO2 adsorption processes on metal oxide surfaces and to investigate how these processes can be tailored for proton-coupled electron transfer reactions for direct reduction of CO2 at oxide surfaces. The project is based on preliminary data and calculations demonstrating a hitherto unexplored photo-stimulated CO2 adsorption mechanism whereby adsorption takes place on locally reduced cation sites.
Objetivo: An opportunity to conduct high quality research and development on a National Health and Medical Research Council project in the area of biomedical engineering computations
Objetivo: A team of 5 PhD students from 4 groups at Utrecht University and Twente University will work together to achieve, for the first time, the self-assembly of photonic colloidal icosahedral quasicrystals as well as the associated periodic MgCu2 Laves phase crystals. The 5 PhD students will tackle many different aspects of this problem.
Objetivo: We are seeking up to three highly motivated, creative Research Associates/Fellows to join our multi-disciplinary team of approximately 30 chemists and engineers undertaking exciting research projects at the University of Nottingham involving continuous flow photochemistry, electrochemistry and thermal chemistry. The aim of all projects is to transform the way fine chemicals and medicines are manufactured in the UK
Objetivo: Applications are invited for the following position: Faculty of Science + Engineering, School of Engineering, Professor of Digital Manufacturing Systems – Multiannual.
Objetivo: We are looking for a scientist who -based on previous work- is able to independently conduct system-oriented research and teaching in at least two of the above-mentioned areas. Applicants must have a degree in computer science, a special qualification for scientific work (usually proven by a doctorate) in the field of database systems, additional scientific achievements (habilitation or equivalent scientific achievements) as well as pedagogical aptitude and experience, to be given proof of by a teaching portfolio.
Objetivo: We are looking for motivated students who are eager to push the frontiers of machine learning and artificial intelligence for their application to SOC. Supervision: The doctoral student will be supervised by Pontus Johnson (KTH), Carlo Fischione (KTH) and Johan von Konow (Cparta Cyber Defense).
Objetivo: Duties and responsibilities: Research work in the field of materials science and development of material technologies. Synthesis and analysis of thin solid materials layers (thin films) for different applications. Electrical and magnetic characterization of spintronic materials. Participation in the scientific projects in the Laboratory of Thin Film Technology as a member of the research staff. Publication of the research results. Teaching and supervising students and young research fellows in the Faculty of Science and Technology.
Objetivo: Duties and responsibilities: Conducting lectures, seminars, and workshops on robotics at bachelor’s and master’s levels of study. Teaching in Estonian and in English. Supervising student research at bachelor’s and master’s levels. Coordinating the activities of the workshop and ensuring the operation of the equipment. Organization and development of teaching activities. Participation in research and development activities of the research team. Participation in the work of the university’s decision-making bodies is recommended. Popularisation of the specialisation.
