PhD Research Fellow in Applied Micro- and Nanosystems – Biossensory implants for in vivo real time Measurement of stress Indicators
Grande área: Biológicas / Exatas e da Terra / Engenharias
Objetivo: Vacancy for a position as PhD Research Fellow in Applied Micro- and Nanosystems. The position is at the Department of Microsystems and reports to the Head of Department. The place of employment is Campus Vestfold, Horten, Norway. Secondment will also be made to Zimmer & Peacock AS who specialises in electrochemical biosensors. The main goal is to develop an implantable telemetry-unit that is able to track glucose and cortisol in salmon using electrochemical sensors. Both glucose and cortisol act as biomarkers for the identification of stress, and the measurements will be conducted in real time through the transmission of data with acoustic signalling.
