Objetivo: High level research in applying remote sensing methods in solving different scientific problems in coastal and inland waters. Collecting and analysing remote sensing and bio-optical data. Creating and managing databases. Planning and participation in fieldwork and laboratory experiments. Maintenance and further development of scientific instruments and sampling equipment available in the Department. Calibration of optical sensors. Publishing results in high level scientific journals and participation in international conferences. Supervising Masters and PhD students as well as younger researchers. Acquiring funding for your own research. Popularisation of the specialisation.
