Objetivo: Intent of this award is to encourage human research in the area of physical activity, training and human performance relative to athletic events. A $5,000 grant is available to doctoral students’ proposals that are applicable to the primary focus of this grant, which is research relevant to clinical and applied physiology that is focusing on female athletes (competitive and non-competitive) and athletics (track and field, road running, trail running, race walking).
