Objetivo: The project aims at developing and study electronic thermal sensors for the application in electronic skin. The envisioned sensors emulate the thermal receptors in the skin for the sense of “warm” and “cold”. The research includes material selection, and device design for an efficient thermal to electrical conversion and neuromorphic signalling. The research will be performed in a multidisciplinary environment therein scientists of complementary backgrounds collaborate.
