Objetivo:
The Gairdner Foundation was established in 1957 with the main goal of recognizing and rewarding international excellence in fundamental research that impacts human health. The Canada Gairdner Global Health Award recognizes the world’s top cientists who have made outstanding achievements in Global Health Research. Since its inception eight years ago, the award has grown significantly to become one of the world’s most prestigious awards recognizing excellence in global health research.
