Objetivo: The research project is focused on gene expression analysis of heart tissue related to different types of heart failure. Bioinformatics analysis of differently expressed genes including functional characterisations and regulation of metabolic networks. In addition, we will analyse biomarkers and proteomics data. Our research group is also looking at new methods for bioinformatics characterisation and subdivision of large protein families.
