Objetivo: A Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência (SBPC) anunciou na última quinta-feira, 18, a realização da Mini Reunião Anual Virtual, uma versão online e reduzida de sua 72ª Reunião Anual, que aconteceria de 12 a 18 de julho, na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, em Natal. Realizado ininterruptamente desde 1949, o maior evento científico da América Latina precisou ser adiado por conta da pandemia de coronavírus, ainda com nova data a definir. Mas, para marcar esse período tão emblemático para a ciência brasileira em que tradicionalmente aconteceria o encontro, a SBPC organiza, entre os dias 12 e 24 de julho, uma série de atividades virtuais, como conferências e painéis, que serão transmitidos ao vivo no canal do YouTube da SBPC e compartilhados na página do Facebook da entidade (@SBPCnet), além dos WEBMinicursos, com assuntos de diversas áreas do conhecimento.
