Será dada prioridade as áreas de Antropologia de populações urbanas, Sociologia e História do Brasil, com enfoque em movimentos sociais contemporâneos para participar das atividades de docência na Universidade de Columbia, em Nova York. O programa é uma parceria entre a Comissão Fulbright, Capes, Fapesp e Columbia University.
