Objetivo: To offer a two-year thoracic-track training program through a joint ACGME-accredited program with New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical College (NYPH/WCMC). This program was established by the late Dr. Robert Ginsberg in 1990, with the intention to train the future leaders in general thoracic surgery, and was one of the first programs in the country to provide this focus.

Objetivo: To provide funding for research that advances the discovery and development of treatments for Huntington’s disease and other brain disorders. The Foundation’s current focus is on 1) modifier studies – on DNA repair pathways, protein degradation and other modifiers of phenotype and age of onset; 2) mechanisms of HD neurodegeneration; 3) biomarkers of disease progression; and 4) therapy for HD-induced neurodegeneration.
