Objetivo:
The LLS is proud to announce the fourth year of the New Idea Award, a grant program designed to identify novel research strategies with a potential for high impact on blood cancer. Specifically, this program supports the initial exploration of untested but potentially transformative ideas that challenge the knowledge of blood cancer or the manner in which the people approach diagnosis or treatment. Competitive proposals will describe ideas that take the investigator’s research in a substantially new direction, and thus preliminary data is not required.

Objetivo:
The Academy of Osseointegration (AO), the world’s leading dental implant organization, and the Osseointegration Foundation were established to provide a focus for the rapidly advancing biotechnology involving the natural bond between bone and certain alloplastic reconstructive materials. The purpose of the Charitable Grant is to provide financial assistance and improve the lives of individuals diagnosed with a lifetime dental condition or for those who have had severe dental trauma and are unable to receive needed dental therapy due to economic restraints.

Objetivo:
The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation aims to support families affected by Prion Disease, raise awareness, and support medical education and research. The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation is pleased to announce a Call for New Grant Applications for research projects relating to human prion diseases. Objetivo:
The International Short Visits is aimed at researchers in Switzerland who wish to go abroad for a short period or researchers abroad who wish to collaborate with researchers in Switzerland. During the visit, they pursue a small joint research project. Short visits may last from one week to three months.

Elegibilidade:
There are no geographical and topical restrictions.
The guest needs to fulfil the following requirements:
1. Hold a doctorate, or a comparable degree;
2. Be employed as a researcher in his/her home institution;
3. Establish or renew cooperation between home and guest institution as a result of the visit;
4. Must not have received a grant under this scheme within the last three years.

GIF defines ‘innovation’ broadly to include new business models, policy practices, technologies, behavioural insights, or ways of delivering products and services that benefit the poor in developing countries, any solution that has potential to address an important development problem more effectively than existing approaches. GIF is interested in innovations that enable greater social impacts to be achieved compared to current practices.

Objetivo: The International Foundation for CDKL5 Research (IFCR) aims to lead the way in finding a cure and treatments for CDKL5 disorder by funding global research efforts, and increasing awareness of CDKL5 disorder, while enhancing the quality of life for those affected by CDKL5 disorder, by providing information, programs, and services.

The IFCR Grant Program aims to fund clinical research projects to help the understand how the CDKL5 protein, and lack thereof, affects different organ systems in the human body, and then move quickly into identifying potential therapeutic interventions that will ameliorate symptoms and lead to an improved quality of life for all those affected.
