Objetivo: Este congresso é um evento formativo, de caráter científico, que aborda de forma monográfica e transversalmente o estudo de uma modalidade desportiva tão enraizada na nossa sociedade como é o basquetebol. O estudo transversal do basquetebol permite analisar a sua problemática a partir de diversas áreas, como a Análise do Jogo, Treinamento, Iniciação, Formação, Rendimento, Psicologia, Fisiologia e Nutrição, Medicina, Gestão Desportiva, Economia e Sociologia, Biomecânica, Tecnologias Aplicadas, Populações Especiais, Arbitragem, Gênero, entre outras. Além disso, este congresso complementa a oferta formativa que se realiza nesta modalidade esportiva, mediante clínicas de basquetebol, seminários monográficos e encontros profissionais.
