Objetivo: The ACM – AAAI Allen Newell award recognizes career contributions that have breadth within computer science – that is, contributions across multiple distinct sub-disciplines – or that bridge computer science and other disciplines.  Key factors in evaluating nominations thus include both the quality of the contributions and their breadth across computer science – with contributions to artificial intelligence being of particular note – plus the significance of the bridges created to other disciplines.
