Objetivo: The Medical Student Summer Research Scholarship offers members of SIGN a summer stipend to conduct a project in either an institutional, clinical, or laboratory setting where there are ongoing programs of research, service or training, or a private practice. The project is to be conducted through a U.S. or Canadian institution of the student’s choice and jointly designed by the student and sponsoring institution.

Objetivo: The Programme/Project Grants will be awarded for research on aspects of leukaemia and for relevant studies on related haematological malignancies. Requests for support for basic science programmes may be considered. Grants will also be awarded for the support of programmes associated with the care of patients with leukaemia. Proposals which are closely related to the care of leukaemia patients or to the prevention of leukaemia and related diseases are particularly encouraged.
