Objetivo:
The Nave Faculty Publication Supplement is designed to provide a modest subvention for completed manuscripts by faculty working on Latin American, the Caribbean, or the Iberian Peninsula. Support will be provided to help meet publication costs of original manuscripts and occasionally to support translation of an original work into another language; projects that are themselves translations will not be supported.

Objetivo:
To address the challenges of large data volumes, high data velocity, and wide data variety, big data systems should employ parallel and distributed computing, modern hardware and architectures (such as GPUs, NUMA, and RDMA, etc.), large main-memory, as well as flexible data models (such as RDF, graph, key-value etc.). We are looking for a postdoc with a strong publication record, preferably in the intersection of some of the aforementioned areas. This must be demonstrated by publications in top-tier conferences and journals in the database or systems area.

Objetivo:
The group has recently taken on significant responsibility in the construction of the endcap inner tracker silicon strip detector (ITk) as part of the Phase-II upgrade of the ATLAS detector. The group wants to contribute to the development of the track trigger system for the Phase II upgrade of ATLAS. We are looking for a candidate capable to make a significant contribution to such development. We expect the candidate to contribute to the final design choices for the system for Phase II upgrade, as well as take a leading role in testing a prototype of such system, the Fast TracKer system (FTK), with Run2 data.
