Objetivo: BCFN YES! is a contest open to PhD candidates and young research fellows around the world. The award is given in recognition and support of innovative projects on food and sustainability. It’s an international contest, because discussions about food relate to us all. It’s a multidisciplinary contest, because diverse approaches enrich the discussion around food. It’s a contest which values and encourages the intersection of food sustainability and environmental sustainability, because the relationship between people and the planet is the basis of the BCFN Foundation’s philosophy and of the double food and environmental pyramid.

Objetivo: To sponsor workshops designed to bring together postgraduate students and/or junior postdoctoral researchers (normally within two years of their PhD) who are working on a particular topic or would like to learn about a particular technique. The workshops would normally be expected to take place over 1 or 2 days at maximum and to be organised by a more senior researcher, who need not be a member of the EPS.

Objetivo: To promote multidisciplinary research programs that (1) devise optimal HIV prevention packages (combination interventions) for specific populations and (2) perform feasibility and acceptability studies to demonstrate that the proposed prevention package is acceptable to the target population and the study design is appropriate and feasible.
