Objetivo: The Lyle Spencer Research Awards program supports intellectually ambitious research oriented to improving the practice of education, independent of any particular reform agendas or methodological strictures.  This program encourages proposals initiated by scholars across a variety of disciplines and fields in an effort to create much-needed space for creative and ambitious research projects that promise to advance our understanding of educational practice and its improvement.

Objetivo: Through an international competition, the Center offers 9-month residential fellowships. The Wilson Center invites scholars, practitioners, journalists and public intellectuals to take part in its flagship international Fellowship Program. Fellows conduct research and write in their areas of interest, while interacting with policymakers in Washington and Wilson Center staff and other scholars in residence.  The Center accepts policy-relevant, non-advocacy fellowship proposals that address key challenges confronting the United States and the world.

Walfish Grants supported by the Division 42 Next Generation Fund promote and support the next generation of student and early career practitioner psychologists to expand the knowledge base in the practice of psychology. Applicants are required to submit manuscripts on clinical, practical or research innovations that address evolving standards, practices and methods in psychological practice. Topics may include population‐based practice issues, procedure or technique‐based practice issues, diagnosis‐based practice issues or service delivery models describing a practice innovation.
