Objetivo: FAST’s grants and fellowships program strives to encourage research aimed at finding a specific treatment for Angelman Syndrome. FAST is committed to assisting individuals living with Angelman Syndrome to realize their full potential. Our goal is to bring practical treatments into current medical practice as quickly as possible; therefore, preference will be given to research projects that have a clear practical application and the results of which will be shared in a timely manner. We also hope that grants we fund will lead to additional research support from government agencies and other funding sources.

Objetivo: Research consultation awards of up to $1,000 are available for clinicians, post-doctoral students, or university faculty interested in conducting research on EMDR and disseminating findings to the practice and scientific communities. The purpose of this award is to facilitate access to the expertise needed in order to advance the development of an EMDR research project, to support the completion of a project, or the writing of an article for publication in a professional journal.

Objetivo: The SPSSI Committee on Grants-in-Aid (GIA) wishes to support scientific research in social problem areas related to the basic interests and goals of SPSSI and particularly those that are not likely to receive support from traditional sources. The Committee especially encourages proposals involving (a) unique and timely research opportunities, (b) underrepresented institutions, graduate students, and junior scholars, (c) volunteer research teams, and (d) actual, not pilot, projects.

Objetivo: The purpose of the Audrey Meyer Mars International Fellowship in Clinical Oncology is to provide one year of advanced training in clinical oncology at participating cancer centers in the United States to qualified physicians and dentists from other countries, particularly countries where advanced training is not readily available.
