Objetivo: The Society invites applications for grants from its Research Fund. Awards are open to both members and non-members of BENHS and will be made to support research on insects and other invertebrates with reference to the British Fauna, and with an emphasis on: field work on insects or other invertebrates with relevance to their conservation; work leading to the production of identification guides and distribution lists.

Objetivo: In collaboration with UNESCO and a number of centres of excellence in the South, TWAS has instituted a Joint Associateship Scheme to enable competent researchers from the South to visit these centres regularly. An associate is appointed for three years during which he/she can visit a Centre twice for research collaboration. Almost 300 centres have been selected to participate in the Scheme.
