Objetivo: Mozilla currently relies on a number of open source and free software projects. In some cases the software produced by these projects is incorporated into Mozilla products. In other cases we run it as part of our infrastructure, or Mozillians use it to get their jobs done. The Foundational Technology track is open to such projects who are in need of funds.

Objetivo: The Mission Partners track is open to any open source or free software project that is undertaking an activity which significantly furthers Mozilla’s mission. The project should be to write or enhance some software or software documentation which is under an OSI open source and/or an FSF free software license (non-software exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis).

Objetivo: The Tinker-Nave Committee, which meets in November, considers the applications, which are then presented to the Tinker Foundation for approval. Tinker professors are required to teach or co-teach one course during the semester of residence and to present a public lecture. The program is an excellent means to relieve curriculum gaps, complement departmental strengths, and establish informal collaborations among faculty and students.
