Objetivo: The studentship provides a unique opportunity to work on a relevant engineering problem at the Airbus Noise Technology Centre (ANTC), part of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton. The studentship is fully funded via an EU H2020 project entitled INVENTOR “INnoVative dEsign of iNstalled airframe componenTs for aircraft nOise Reduction.” The primary goal of INVENTOR is to better understand the physics of noise generated by spoilers on the wing and landing gears, both deployed of approach to landing.
