Objetivo: The MIDORI Prize for Biodiversity, an international prize, and the Japan Awards for Biodiversity, a domestic prize, were established with the aim of promoting biodiversity conservation and sustainable use. They are awarded biennially in recognition of individuals and organizations which have engaged in striking environmental conservation activities.
