Objetivo: Support is primarily provided for the historical humanities, in particular to support research projects in the fields of Archaeology, Art History, Historical Islamic Studies, History, History of Law, History of Science, Prehistory and Early History. The Foundation generally accepts applications for research projects made by universities, other research institutes or comparable institutions as well as by one or several Postdocs or scholars with Post Doctoral Lecture Qualification. The applicants must be involved in the research work of the project.

Objetivo: ASEH created this fellowship to recognize graduate students from an underrepresented group for their achievements in environmental history research, to expand ASEH membership, and to broaden the topics of study in the field. ACLS – Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowships in Buddhist Studies 2019

Objetivo: The Fellowships provide two years of funding to recent recipients of the PhD for residence at a university for the purpose of revising the dissertation into a publishable manuscript or for beginning the first new project after completion of the PhD degree.  The teaching of one course per year is encouraged.  Priority is given to residence at universities or colleges providing a collegial atmosphere and working conditions enabling the postdoctoral Fellow’s entry into an academic career in Buddhist studies.

Objetivo: Several of the general short-term fellowships are reserved for archaeologists whose work focuses on issues of slavery in the greater Chesapeake region and whose work would benefit from the use of the Digital Archaeological Archive of Comparative Slavery. Short-term fellowships are awarded for periods of one, two, three or four months to doctoral candidates and postdoctoral scholars from any country.
