Objetivo: The Reg and Molly Buck Award is intended to support a post-doctoral research project of someone who has been awarded their doctorate up to five years previously. The criteria by which applications will be judged include the quality, originality and significance of the proposed post-doctoral research; and the likelihood of the applicant being unable to obtain funding from other sources.

Objetivo: The National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic supports study/research/teaching/artistic mobility of international students, PhD students, university teachers, researchers and artists at higher education institutions and research organisations. It supports two-way mobility – international scholarship holders to Slovakia, as well as Slovak scholarship holders abroad. The programme offers scholarships to cover living costs during the stay and travel allowances (all categories in case of scholarship holders from Slovakia; students and PhD students in case of international scholarship holders).

Objetivo: The Research Group Linkage Programme is an alumni support tool, combining various activities, designed to establish a sustainable basis for long-term international academic collaboration between alumni of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation programmes abroad (please see current list of countries) and academics in Germany. Such cooperations should also integrate (doctoral and post-doctoral) junior researchers as potential candidates for a research fellowship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
