Objetivo: Education holds an important place among the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In todays’ world, ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education is often a daring task. Poverty, gender and social inequality, conflict and population displacement are only a few of the obstacles. Women and people with disabilities are often excluded from any kind of schooling – a condition that perpetuates their social vulnerability. Education issues are so relevant for the expansion of global scholarships available in African and developing countries with a specific focus on technical, scientific and engineering studies: an urgent initiative that needs immediate attention.

Objetivo: The Green Fellowship invites recent university or college graduates and postgraduate students from across the world to join one its online cohort in 2020, to conduct original research, develop innovations, or implement action in collaboration with faculty at The Green Institute. In addition to their project, Fellows participate in career workshops, trainings, and a final online symposium to share their work. There is also possibility of a field trip. Fellow will receive certificates at the end of the fellowship. The best project will receive funding to amplify their work.
