Prezadas(os), estamos finalizando mais um ano!

Nós, da Pró-reitoria de Pesquisa, compartilhamos nossas conquistas e agradecemos a colaboração para que nosso trabalho de divulgação de pesquisa tenha tido êxito ao longo de 2019.

Realizamos mais de 1300 postagens no POP, contemplando bolsas, editais, chamadas públicas e eventos – no Brasil e no exterior – em todas as áreas do conhecimento.

Em nossa página no Facebook fizemos quase 250 publicações, divulgando notícias sobre pesquisa em geral e muitos trabalhos que estão sendo realizados na UFSC, em prol da sociedade.

Da mesma forma, no site da Propesq, publicamos 16 matérias/entrevistas/vídeos com pesquisadores da UFSC, promovendo e difundindo seu conhecimento para a sociedade, além de 60 publicações com enfoque em notícias sobre pesquisa.

Hoje, encerramos as publicações deste ano. Agradecemos aos pesquisadores que contribuíram para o enriquecimento do nosso trabalho e almejamos divulgar cada vez mais e contribuir também com os trabalhos desenvolvidos na UFSC.

Objetivo: An Exploration Grant application is a request for funding by an experienced project leader in the areas of conservation, education, research, storytelling, and technology. The applicant and his or her team members are expected to demonstrate successful completion of similar projects with measurable and/or tangible results.

Objetivo: The Branco Weiss Fellowship – Society in Science is a unique postdoc program. It awards young researchers around the world with a generous personal research grant, giving them the freedom to work on whatever topic they choose anywhere in the world, for up to five years. This research fellowship is designed to support postdoctoral researchers after their PhD and before their first faculty appointment. Those in current postdoctoral positions are also eligible. Ideally, fellows pursue unconventional projects in new areas of science, engineering and social sciences.

Objetivo: The National Geographic Society and Microsoft’s AI for Earth program are partnering to support the exploration of how AI can help us discover, identify, and classify new species. The Artificial Intelligence for Species Discovery RFP will provide support to projects that accelerate discovery, monitoring, and modeling, and ultimately improve the management of Earth’s biodiversity for a more sustainable future.

Objetivo: #IdeasChangeLives is our global innovation challenge to find digital solutions to some of the world’s greatest problems. We’re looking for people with a fresh, entrepreneurial spirit and a big idea that has the potential to make a positive impact for communities across the globe. The winning pitch will get £20,000 to invest in their idea, as well as mentorship and support from the British Council for a full year.

Objetivo: We encourage applications from a wide range of practitioners whose work focuses on improving the built and natural environment. In short, people of exceptional skill who design, plan, preserve, and critique the places where we live, work, and play are eligible to apply. The program is for people in mid-career, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the field. We seek professionals who have leadership ability and who show the potential to take their capacities to higher levels. The opportunities presented by the Fellowship work best for those experienced enough to ask the hard questions, but with plenty of time left to make an impact.

Objetivo: O Eco-Desafio é a categoria especial de inovação sustentável com impacto multidimensional através de produtos e serviços desenvolvidos por jovens empreendedores na Competição de Talento e Inovação das Américas (TIC Americas). O Eco-Desafio apoia jovens empreendedores da América Latina e do Caribe para desenvolver soluções que respondam ao contexto local e regional e que possam ser ampliados como negócios sustentáveis. O Eco-Challenge 11.0 se concentrará na identificação de soluções escaláveis e sustentáveis que permitirão ir além do uso dos plásticos e construir um mundo onde eles não serão desperdiçados ao reduzir, reciclar e reinventar.
