Objetivo: Mind & Life Think Tanks are intimate, two- to three-day self-organized collaborative gatherings designed to advance a particular project or problem within the contemplative sciences. These incubator-type meetings bring together small groups of collaborators including scientists, scholars, humanitarian leaders and changemakers, contemplative practitioners, educators, and applied professionals.

Objetivo: To build a sustainable basis for long-term international academic collaboration, also integrating (doctoral and post-doctoral) junior researchers who are potential candidates for an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation research fellowship. Joint research projects can be sponsored to the value of €55,000 over a period of up to three years. The funding may be used to finance reciprocal research visits lasting up to three months, conferences and workshops, consumables, printing costs, and, to a limited extent, academic auxiliary staff and equipment for the institute abroad.

Objetivo: FAST’s grants and fellowships program strives to encourage research aimed at finding a specific treatment for Angelman Syndrome. FAST is committed to assisting individuals living with Angelman Syndrome to realize their full potential. Our goal is to bring practical treatment into current medical practice as quickly as possible; therefore, preference will be given to research projects that have a clear practical application and the results of which will be shared in a timely fashion. We also hope that grants we fund will lead to additional research support from government agencies and other funding sources.
