Objetivo: The Kluge Center encourages humanistic and social science research that makes use of the Library’s large and varied collections. Interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research is particularly welcome in the Kluge Fellowship program. The fellowship is open to scholars in the humanities and social sciences with special consideration given to those whose projects demonstrate relevance to the challenges facing democracies in the 21st century.

Objetivo: The Leakey Foundation exclusively funds research related to human origins. Priority of funding is commonly given to exploratory phases of promising new research projects that meet the stated purpose of the Foundation. The majority of The Leakey Foundation’s Research Grants awarded to doctoral students are in the $3,000-$15,000 range. Larger grants given to senior scientists and post-doctoral researchers may be funded up to $25,000.

Objetivo: Difundir os conhecimentos sobre a aplicação do método bibliométrico, sendo utilizados em aula os softwares VosViewer e Ucinet. Além de uma introdução teórica sobre a bibliometria, o curso enfatiza a prática através das etapas para realizar uma análise bibliométrica: processo de amostragem e busca nas bases científicas, extração de dados e arquivamento e análises descritivas e de redes sociais. Ao final do curso, o participante estará apto a realizar todas as etapas da bibliometria.
