Objetivo:
The Young Researchers Award aims to foster innovative research and discovery in biodiversity informatics by graduate students who are working with GBIF-enabled data in master’s and doctoral studies. Graduate students must be enrolled in a university s masters or doctoral programme to be eligible to submit a proposal to the Programme.

Objetivo:
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) International Program fosters international cooperative research and the exchange of scientific information by drug abuse researchers around the globe. NIDA’s international objectives include: promoting international research activities; supporting research training and exchange opportunities globally; communicating and disseminating science-based information on drug abuse and supporting international research collaboration.The Distinguished International Scientist Collaboration Award (DISCA) supports direct collaboration between American senior scientists and their colleagues from outside the United States. The NIDA sponsors the program to advance scientific understanding of drug abuse and addiction through cooperation on new research methods and techniques; data analysis; collaborative research reports or proposals; or basic, clinical, and applied research.

[chamada] Angelman Syndrome Foundation – Calls for Research Proposals 2017

Objetivo:
The Angelman Syndrome Foundation announces biannual Calls for Research Proposals to be awarded in support of Angelman syndrome research. Highest priority will be given to pilot projects to test new ideas about pathogenesis and therapeutics of Angelman syndrome, translational research and clinical research studies. Of particular interest to the ASF are studies related to communication, behavioral issues and identification of issues and treatments that impact the daily life of people with Angelman syndrome and their families.
